Last week Google Latitude was yanked from the App Store.. but miraculously Googles' Latitude has made it back on. Hopefully for good this time, Although it's quite odd that the version number is showing a 2.0.0.346. It just goes to show how long Google has been waiting for Lord Steve's approval on this one.
To all of the iPhone 3g users, I’m sure your first thoughts on iOS 4.0, was… yay! Multitasking, folders, better battery, and speed improvement. But honestly, what you got was a complete disaster. I will include the video that pretty much sums up how terrible the IOS 4 was on the iPhone 3g.
First off, you realized right away that the big bad Apple removed multitasking from the iPhone 3g. Second, the speed, and battery life, seemingly decreased to the point where the phone was practically un-usable. Many people complained to Apple, for long periods of time, until FINALLY! They responded with 4.1 iOS.
Steve Jobs promised some much needed improvements to the iPhone 3G. Such as, improved battery and most needed increased speed. Thankfully, IOS 4.1 finally got some things right. You could now use your iPhone 3G with software that wouldn’t render the phone nearly useless. So to all of you with iPhone 3G’s, have no fear for the new software, download it for yourselves and you’ll be amazed.
Today as I was surfing the web, I came across various links reporting that RIM is secretly making their own tablet type device. This is no doubt their effort at competing with the Ipad. A few interesting things I've read about this is that it's going to be thinner than the ipad. It's also going to support blackberry's OS. In my opinion.. more people would buy a blackpad because for everyone that has an ipod touch or iphone, there is really little point to buying an ipad because it uses the same OS; and it costs a lot of money. The blackpad will change things up a bit. It'll be a nice change with Blackberry's OS on it. I'm certain it will be allowed to be used on Wi-fi. Once again, not a whole lot of information on this right now but I plan on keeping everyone posted as I search the web for more info as it becomes available.
