Popular Video website Youtube, suffers outtage

At about 7:00 a.m. thursday morning, Youtube suffered a temporary shut down. Many users received the message "Service Unavailable". Many began tweeting about the website being down as well. At around  8:30 the site officially came back on. Google (owner of the website) estimates that around 24 hours of video content are uploaded to the cite every minute.

3/31/2010: history repeats itself as youtube shows 502 server errors and "service unavailable" messages. more info will be posted when it is confirmed that the site has come back up. perhaps these days upon days of videos uploaded every minute are taking a toll on youtube's servers
